Pack of Raccoons LLC ("Pack of Raccoons," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Pack of Raccoons mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we collect, how we use and disclose that information, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of the Service, and certain information automatically provided by your device or third-party services.

Account and Profile Information

When you create or use an account, we may collect information such as:

• Name, username, email address, and date of birth
• Profile photo, banner, biography, website, and social media handles
• Account preferences and settings
• Account creation and agreement acceptance information
• Points, levels, awards, characters, achievements, and other account activity
• Information received from a sign-in provider if you use a third-party sign-in service

Some profile information may be visible to other users.

Cleanup and Location Information

When you submit a cleanup, pin, adoption activity, or similar content, we may collect:

• Geographic location and map coordinates
• Cleanup areas or boundaries
• Photos
• Items collected, quantities, weights, tools used, dates, and notes
• Team or organization information associated with the activity
• Other information you choose to include

Photos you upload may contain metadata created by your device, including location or technical information.

If you allow the Service to access your device location, location may be used to help display your position on the map or assist with creating a pin. We do not use the Service to continuously track your location in the background. Location associated with content you submit may be stored as part of that content.

Social and Community Information

We may collect information about your activity within the Pack of Raccoons community, including:

• Comments, replies, likes, and mentions
• Team memberships, requests, posts, and interactions
• Users you block
• Content reports and moderation information
• Feedback, support requests, and related communications

Adoption and Municipality Information

If you participate in an area adoption program, we may collect contact information such as your email address, phone number, organization name, participation status, cleanup history, and information necessary to coordinate with the applicable municipality or organization.

Municipality or organization accounts may include contact information, authorized users, account roles, program information, and related administrative records.

Device and Usage Information

We may automatically collect technical and usage information when you use the Service, including:

• IP address
• Device and browser information
• Device timezone
• Session and device identifiers
• Push notification identifiers
• Pages or screens viewed
• Interactions with features
• Login, signup, and activity information
• Diagnostic, performance, and analytics information

We use this information to operate, understand, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

Other Information

We may also collect information you provide through waitlists, forms, feedback submissions, support requests, account deletion requests, surveys, or other communications with us.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Create and manage accounts
• Display cleanup activity, maps, profiles, teams, rankings, and community features
• Operate cleanup and area adoption programs
• Calculate points, levels, awards, rankings, and estimates
• Review and moderate content
• Detect spam, abuse, fraud, or violations of our rules
• Respond to support requests and feedback
• Send account, activity, community, adoption, reminder, or service-related communications
• Provide push notifications
• Generate reports and program information
• Provide municipality and organization management features
• Analyze how the Service is used

• Protect the safety, integrity, and security of the Service
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

3. Public Information

Pack of Raccoons includes social and public-facing features.

Information you choose to make public may be visible to other users and, in some circumstances, to people who do not have a Pack of Raccoons account.

For example, public or shared cleanup content may include your username, cleanup location, photos, items collected, weights, notes, dates, and other information associated with the cleanup.

You should not include information in public content that you do not want others to see.

4. Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence

We may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence services, to help operate features of the Service.

These systems may assist with activities such as:

• Reviewing or approving cleanup submissions
• Detecting spam or inappropriate content
• Assisting with content moderation
• Generating descriptions or accessibility information
• Estimating information about collected items
• Calculating points, rankings, awards, and other Service features

Some decisions involving content may be made automatically, while others may be reviewed by Pack of Raccoons administrators.

Information submitted to these features may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf.

5. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances.

Other Users and the Public

Information associated with public profiles, public cleanup activity, community interactions, teams, leaderboards, and shared content may be visible to other users or the public as described above.

Municipalities and Organizations

When you participate in a municipality, organization, team, or area adoption program, relevant information may be provided to authorized representatives of that program.

This may include contact information, cleanup activity, locations, photos, participation history, and information necessary to administer the program.

Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to help us operate the Service. These providers may process information on our behalf for functions such as:

• Hosting and cloud infrastructure
• Databases and file storage
• Authentication
• Email and communications
• Analytics
• Mapping, geocoding, place search, and routing
• Artificial intelligence and automated processing
• Push notifications
• Content delivery
• Fonts and other website or application resources
• Security, maintenance, and technical support

These providers receive information as necessary to perform their services.

Administrators

Authorized Pack of Raccoons personnel and administrators may access information where reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, support, secure, or improve the Service.

Information submitted through the Service may also be delivered to administrative email accounts or other internal business systems.

Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to comply with law, legal process, or government requests, enforce our agreements, investigate suspected misuse, prevent fraud, protect safety, or protect the rights and property of Pack of Raccoons or others.

Business Transactions

If Pack of Raccoons is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

6. Sale and Advertising

Pack of Raccoons does not sell your personal information.

We do not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

The Service is currently offered without advertising.

7. Communications

We may send communications relating to your account or activity, including notifications concerning comments, mentions, awards, cleanup activity, moderation, team activity, adoption programs, reminders, account administration, or other Service features.

Where available, you may adjust certain communication preferences or follow instructions provided with the applicable communication.

Some administrative, security, or account-related communications may be necessary to operate the Service.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate operational, security, legal, and administrative purposes.

Information associated with an account may generally be retained while the account remains active.

You may delete certain content directly through the Service where that functionality is available.

If you request deletion of your account, we will process the request and generally remove personal information associated with the account within 30 days, subject to information we may need to retain for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes.

Some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or other systems before being deleted through normal retention processes.

9. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Pack of Raccoons account through the account settings available within the Service or by contacting us at:

Deleting your account may result in deletion of associated profile information, submitted content, photos, and other personal information, subject to limited exceptions permitted or required by law.

We may take reasonable steps to verify that a deletion request relates to your account.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and the laws applicable to Pack of Raccoons, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:

• Request access to information we maintain about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of information
• Obtain a copy of certain information
• Restrict or object to certain uses of information
• Opt out of certain forms of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising
• Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information
• Appeal certain decisions concerning a privacy request

Pack of Raccoons does not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.

We may verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

11. Information Stored on Your Device

The Service may store certain information locally on your device, such as authentication information, preferences, tutorial progress, cached content, or information used to improve performance and functionality.

Deleting the application from your device may remove locally stored information but does not necessarily delete information associated with your Pack of Raccoons account.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Users Under 18

Pack of Raccoons is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old.

We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create accounts. If we become aware that an individual under 18 has provided personal information through an account in violation of this requirement, we may remove the account and associated information.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to, integrate with, or rely upon third-party websites, platforms, mapping services, authentication providers, or other services.

Those third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies and practices. We encourage you to review those policies where appropriate.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Service, our practices, or applicable requirements change.

When we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Where required, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

Your continued use of the Service after an updated policy becomes effective is subject to the updated policy and applicable law.
